IN & AROUND BUDAPEST
HALF-DAY SIGHTSEEING IN BUDAPEST We have a half day tour of Budapest to show you the unique geographical setting and rich cultural heritage of the city. We will look at the City Park, Heroes' Square, Parliament and St. Stephen's Cathedral, marvel at the panorama from Gellert Hill and stroll through the majestic Castle Hill, stopping at Matthias Church (3 and a half hours). We have a full day tour of Budapest. We drive to Esztergom, the first Hungarian capital to see the Cathedral and the Castle, then through Visegrád, a town of Hungary's medieval kings and knights. Three course lunch at a venison restaurant in the Visegrad National Park. Gypsy music. We will drive on to Szentendre, an artist colony and a shopper's paradise. An hour of free time to discover the town on your own, and browse in the shops. We will drive back to Budapest in the afternoon (8 hours, lunch and all entrance fees are included). We will drive to the Kecskemet,
a typical town of the Hungarian Great Plains. Kecskemet is famous for
its Art Nouveau style architecture. We will visit the Town Hall, and drive
to the Hungarian cowboy country to see a horse show. Our guests can go
for a wagon drive or ride a horse. Lunch in a local country inn (three
courses). We will drive back to Budapest in the afternoon (7 hours, lunch
is included). The tour begins at your hotel and terminates at your hotel
